CCNB-INNOV is an applied research division set up to simultaneously run multiple projects from different fields of study, namely; Agriculture, Bioprocesses, Beverages and Environment (ABBE).

Equipped with a microbiology laboratory, a chemistry laboratory, a beverage laboratory, a greenhouse and a scale-up space, we are capable of addressing many analytical, technical and processing requirements enabling process discovery and/or stabilization for efficient product development and proper scale-up options.

We have a focus on biomass utilization through microbial fermentation, enzymatic hydrolysis, bio separation and chemical process technologies to generate high value bio products.

Furthermore, our expertise in agriculture and environment broaden our service offerings and client base from working with agricultural companies, to municipalities, SMEs, and large international businesses and other research institutions.

Our specialized group of researchers work closely with clients to find funding options for their projects, and generate the research they need to enable intelligent decision making showing them a path to development of a market ready product with the ultimate goal of boosting regional economic development.
