Research Facility
The Joint Action Research (JAR) Laboratory is located in the School of Physiotherapy, Dalhousie University. The JAR lab contains equipment for the analysis of human movement, biomechanics and muscle activation characteristics. We are interested in understanding how lower limb injuries and diseases to the muscles, bones or joints alter how people move, the effects of conservative and surgical treatments on movement based outcomes and the use of biomechanical outcomes in clinical decisions making.
