The Olympus Fluoview FV 1000 consists of an inverted research quality microscope with a laser scanning head. This unit provides confocal fluorescent imaging, high-speed digital image capture, live cell and 3D imaging. It is also capable of Z-stacking of images and co-localization, time-lapse imaging and FRAP. Complete image analysis can be obtained.

Lasers Include: HeNe 543nm 568nm, Argon 488nm 515nm, LD 405nm 635nm

SIM scanner with 405nm Laser Diode

The equipment can be used for confocal fluorescence, DIC, dark field, bright field and phase contrast microscopy.

The Confocal Digital Imaging Unit consists of an inverted research quality microscope with an Olympus Fluoview FV 1000 laser scanning head. The biological microscope has multiple lasers with SIM scanner and is equipped for confocal fluorescence, DIC, dark field, bright field and phase contrast microscopy.The unit operates on a fee-for-service basis and is available to both internal and external users.
