Equipment
This equipment provides a dry, oxygen, and solvent-free atmosphere to handle very air-sensitive chemicals. It is used to carry out reactions and make measurements on such chemicals.
This equipment provides a dry and oxygen-free atmosphere to handle very air sensitive compounds. This drybox has no solvent vapours in its atmosphere to ensure highest environmental purity for any chemicals handled inside it. The drybox is equipped with a -30 oC freezer for storage of samples at low temperature
Research Facility
This lab carries out research in synthetic inorganic chemistry with the goal of designing next generation catalysts and materials.
A diverse range of air-sensitive chemistry is carried out under inert atmosphers conditions in gloveboxes or using Schlenk and high-vacuum lines in fumehoods. We also carry out photochemical experiments using light of different wavelengths.
We work with a range of heavy metals such as tin, bismuth, antimony, selenium, lead, indium, and gallium.
