  • Small solar tracker mounted with four passive sensors:
    • SolarSIM-D2+, a SolarSIM-G
    • reference pyranometer
    • sun sensor. 
  • Applications include: assessment of solar resource for photovoltaic or solar thermal installations, meteorological monitoring, weather and climate modeling, etc.

  • Measurements include: 
    • Global solar spectral irradiance (280 - 4000 nm)
    • Global horizontal irradiance
    • Direct solar spectral irradiance (280 - 4000 nm)
    • Direct normal irradiance
    • Atmospheric aerosol concentrations (280 - 4000 nm) 
    • Atmospheric ozone concentration
    • Atmospheric precipitable water vapour concentration
    • Ambient temperature, pressure and humidity
