The MEC is essentially a commercial lab on Dalhousie campus and offers analytical services both inside Dalhousie and outside to other universities, companies, government agencies, and individuals. Our analytical services are mainly in the mining and mineral exploration industries, but we also have services in industrial chemistry and some environmental chemistry.
